Broadway World: Laguna Playhouse Presents Special Engagement of LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE

The Laguna Playhouse Executive and Artistic Directors, Karen Wood and Ann E. Wareham are thrilled to present a special engagement of the smash-hit, Off-Broadway play, LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE, a play by Nora and Delia Ephron, based on the book by Ilene Beckerman and directed by Jenny Sullivan.

“We are overjoyed to bring this heartfelt play from Nora and Delia Ephron to our audiences who are going to adore the women we have committed to doing this extraordinary piece,” comments Wood. “Jenny Sullivan is one of our finest directors and we are thrilled to have her back on our stage with this remarkable work” adds Wareham. LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE will begin performances on Wednesday, May 20 and will run through Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach.

A great show is always in fashion! LOVE, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE is a funny and often poignant collection of anecdotes that use clothing, accessories and the memories they trigger to tell stories relating to matters of the heart and matters of the closet. Different casts each week, including during our opening week: Nancy Dussault, Lisa Hale, Amber Mercomes, Dee Dee Rescher & Erika Whalen Schindele. Week Two will include: Alyson Lindsay, Linda Purl, Joanna Strapp, Dawn Wells &Hattie Winston. Week three will include: Stephanie Zimbalist, Ava Burton, Pat Kollenda, Eileen Galindo & Jennifer Leigh Warren.

FILM: Access All Areas and The Next Best Thing (in which she had the good fortune to direct her father Barry). Jenny is most proud of the world premiere of her play J for J with Jeff Kober and the late great John Ritter.

LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE will open on Wednesday, May 20 and will run through Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach. Performances are Wednesdays – Saturdays at 7:30pm; Thursdays & Saturdays at 2:00pm and Sundays at 1:00pm.
